Who we are
Great Bet UK Editorial Ltd. ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through greatbetuk.com. We can be reached at privacy@greatbetuk.com.
What we collect & why
We aim to collect the absolute minimum necessary to run an editorial site responsibly. We never sell personal data.
- Click identifiers (e.g. Google's gclid) stored in a first-party cookie so attribution to the referring campaign survives navigation.
- Server logs containing IP address, user-agent and request path — retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Aggregate, non-identifying analytics about which articles are read.
- Email addresses you voluntarily send us via the contact form.
Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6)
We rely on three lawful bases: (a) legitimate interests, for security logs and click-attribution; (b) consent, for any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies; (c) contract / legal obligation, where applicable.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, restrict, port and erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@greatbetuk.com — we will respond within one calendar month.
Children
This site is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
Right to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
